Increased Performance

CheckMate Has been used very successfully by production operators during the 1980's and 90's, providing dynamic and motivational feedback in relation to output and performance. This constant and immediate feedback has consistently generated a 5-10% increase in individual operator performance.

There is a school of thought that the motivational effect of CheckMate is only successful for trainees but, Eildon has demonstrated that CheckMate can be equally effective with any production operator. In factories where we have installed one CheckMate with every operator in a production line or section, the average increase has been around 10%, with even the highest earnings operators improving and benefiting from feedback through a CheckMate

One of the most important factors to consider is that CheckMate generates lasting results, and can be used again and again to raise operators performance levels that little bit higher each time until their full potential has been achieved.

Many operators are frequently reluctant to give up the use of CheckMate and would like one permanently on their machine, however, we recommend that normal use is for each operator to have a CheckMate for 3-4 weeks twice a year.

Reduced Training Times

We have shown that by introducing CheckMate to a trainee, after the operator has learned the correct method and is producing work to the required quality standard, the powerful feedback and motivational features of CheckMate enable the trainee to climb through the training curve in approximately 3/4's of the normal training time. It is best if the operator retains the CheckMate until training is completed.

This represents not only a saving in training time but also significantly reduces the involvement of the supervisor and training instructor.

The same effect is seen in re-training or style change situations with operators performances returning to previous earnings levels significantly quicker than normal.

Fewer Production Studies

CheckMate is not a work study measurement tool and should never be seen by operators to be used as such.

It can, however, by constantly showing the operators their performance throughout the day, eliminate the necessity of many long hours of follow-up production study.

Savings

In addition to the obvious savings gained from the examples above, your company can expect to achieve real savings through a reduction in Overheads and fewer Sewing Machines requiring less floor space.

Return-on-Investment

The ROI generated by CheckMate is normally an amazing 3 months. This rate of return is certainly achievable if you rotate your CheckMate units to different operators every month.
