REAL-TIME DATA CAPTURE AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Motivational real-time production efficiency information such as

Actual and target unit output in both graphic and text format and calculations of real time efficiency of lines,sections,work groups etc: and shows summaries of plant efficiency.

The system comprises any number of terminals which are strategically located at the ends of production lines etc: for maximum motivational effect and to provide supervisors and the workforce,if overhead QRD DISPLAYS are used,with constantly updated real-time production efficiency and achieved quality information.

The terminals are linked to a suitable PC in the production office which consolidates the information and shows graphically and in text the status of each section,group etc:and of larger groupings and the complete plant and uses dynamic colour coding to highlight where problems exist or are developing, enabling management and supervision to take timely corrective action.

The system allows interface with existing management systems,printouts and automatic control of terminals, as determined by management, of, start times, lunch breaks,hours worked,overtime and much more as well as scheduled automatic printouts.

This is not a payroll system as it’s function is to motivate the workforce and provide real-time information for management and supervisors to help them work more effectively.

Hard copy reports are available at any time.

It is not a payroll system and it is not necessary to locate a PCCM Terminal on every work station.

ASCII INTERFACE

All data received from the PCCM Terminals is held in an ASCII file and is available to interface with existing management systems for further data processing.

PRINT OUTS

All graphic and text screens can be printed on demand or at scheduled intervals.

TRADITIONAL PLANT APPLICATIONS

In a traditional plant one PCCM Terminal located at the end of each production line, section and/or key operations will allow management to monitor the current real time effectiveness of the plant.

MODULAR MANUFACTURING APPLICATION

A PCCM Terminal installed at the last operation in a modular/quick response work group will monitor the output of the group/team and ensure management are aware of problems as they develop and that timely corrective action can be taken.
